Alan Rosenspan Honored With Andi Emerson Award For Lifetime Achievement and Service to the Direct Marketing Community
NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Alan Rosenspan, president of Alan Rosenspan & Associates, a direct marketing creative and consulting firm, will be honored at the 28th Annual John Caples International Awards ceremony on the evening of March 2, 2006, by being awarded the Andi Emerson Award For Lifetime Achievement and Service to the Direct Marketing Creative Community, announced Andi Emerson, Founder and President of the John Caples Board of Directors.
The Andi Emerson Award is named for the founder of the John Caples International Awards and created by the Direct Marketing Creative Guild. It is now presented by the Caples Board to an individual who has contributed outstanding service to the direct marketing creative community.

Alan Rosenspan and his agency teams have won over 100 awards for creativity and results in a creative career that has included such agencies now known as OgilvyOne and Digitas.
Rosenspan has devoted a great deal of his energies to direct marketing community service and educational development. He developed the Creative Strategy course for the Direct Marketing Association, and was a direct marketing instructor at Bentley College for 11 years. He has also taught classes at Babson University, and at the Ad Club.
Rosenspan has written over 100 articles for direct marketing publications around the world. Most can be found on his website at www.alanrosenspan.com He is the author of "Confessions of a Control Freak," published in 2002. "Confessions of a Control Freak" has been translated into Russian, and is currently being translated into Dutch and Italian.
His book, "101 Ways to Improve Response," has been published in several countries, and has been translated into Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Russian and will be soon be translated into Japanese.
And Rosenspan has contributed chapters to several direct marketing books, including "The Direct Marketing Handbook" and "Direct Marketing 2000."
He has been a regular speaker and seminar leader at conferences and symposiums across the U.S., as well as Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Finland, France, Holland, Italy, Iceland, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, South Africa, Switzerland, the UK and the Ukraine. Most recently, he lectured in Japan earlier this month.
In 1997, Rosenspan was named the "Direct Marketer of the Year" in New England. He is also a past-president of the New England Direct Marketing Association.
